These Terms & Conditions regulate the business between you and us. By using our website in any way or buying from us, you agree to be bound by them.

 

TECHNESE Enterprises Limited is a retailer specialized in mobile and accessories technology. We sell goods through our Network (website, email or Facebook), by phone, and posted mail. We are not proprietor of any outlets or shops. We sell technology goods on our website. Technese does not issue any form of paper catalogues.
In these Terms of Use, we refer to Technese Enterprises Limited as “Technese” and the website as the “Site”. Our office is located at the following address:

1. OUR PRODUCT(S)

 

All the products come from Technese are brand new and are not refurbished and used products.
The products will be unseal, verify and perform quality assurance checking by Technese’s staff before dispatch. If customers do not allow us to do this process, they must send a request to us before dispatched.

 

 

♦ Product(s) Information

1.1 Product(s) Photos are for reference only. The color displayed may be slightly different from that on the product(s) when customer receives his/her order. There would be no refund/return due to the color difference between the actual product(s) and the displayed.

 

1.2 The language on the system interface will be changed into English as the default language by us except some mobile accessories. (The language of these product(s) may be compactible to the customer’s mobile device.) If customer has any special requests on the language of the system interface, please contact Technese before dispatched. Customers who have special requests of the language on the system interface should bear any possible cost. Please contact Technese before dispatched.

 

1.3 Please note that some product(s) instruction manuals do not come in English. In the case customer buys a product(s) which does not have an English instruction manual, please contact Technese and Technese will happily send customer information as to view the manual required in English.

 

1.4 Technese attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Technese does not warrant that product(s) descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. If a product(s) offered by Technese is not as described, customer’s sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

 

1.5 Technese makes all effort to ensure the information on its website is correct and up to date. If customer locates any errors/mistakes on its site, please let Technese know. Technese promises to correct any errors as soon as it can. Specifications and product(s) descriptions are for guidance only, cannot be guaranteed accurate. Errors and omissions are excepted.

 

1.6 All mobile phones rely on signal from a mobile phone network.The strength or quality of the mobile coverage is largely determined by the coverage of your local mobile phone networks. The signal between the mobile handset and the phone network can be affected or blocked in rural areas or ‘dead zones’ where the mobile signal is blocked by tunnels, hills or dense tall buildings. We strongly advise you to contact your local mobile phone networks to check the coverage in the areas you are most likely use your phone, before you make a purchase.

 

♦ Gifts and accessories

A suitable adapter for the delivery country will be dispatched together with the ordered product(s) if necessary. All gifts are brand new or generic product(s).

 

 

2. ORDER

 

♦ Terms and Conditions

 

By purchasing a product(s) through the site, customer agrees that such order and the import of such product(s) complies with the laws of the country to which customer has requested Technese Enterprises Limited to ship the product(s), and agrees that customer will be considered the sole “Importer” of the product(s) to his/her country for all purposes, including customs regulations, copyright and trademark laws.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that Technese Enterprises Limited’s role is limited to procure product(s)s available in Hong Kong and other regions and making these product(s) available through the site to customer for order in Hong Kong and for his/her import to his/her country. In no event will Technese Enterprises Limited be a party to the import of such product(s) nor will it be responsible for any liability arising under the laws of any country other than Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for the import and sale of product(s) available on the site, including without limitation customs regulations and customs holds, detentions and seizures and copyright and trademark laws.
No terms and conditions contained in the confirmation of order, invoice of order or other document of the customer will form part of the contract.
When customer places an order to buy a product(s) from Technese Website, Technese will send customer an e-mail confirming receipt of his/her order and containing the details of his/her order. Customer’s order represents the order of a product(s) which is accepted by Technese when sending an e-mail confirmation of a dispatched product(s) (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be complete at the time Technese sends the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to customer. Any product(s) on the same order which Technese has not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail do not form part of that contract.

 

Order Flow

 

  1. Product selection. Once you have chosen your product, you can add it to your Shopping Cart by clicking on the ‘Add to cart’ button.
  2. Shopping cart. You can view your cart by clicking the shopping trolley in the top-right corner of the menu. You can modify the quantity of each item, add them to your Wish List, choose your delivery options, and apply coupon code (if you have one). Click ‘CHECKOUT’ to continue with the checkout.
  3. Checkout. Once you have reviewed your order, click ‘CONFIRM’. It will redirect you to the PayPal checkout website. Click “Pay Now” to complete your order.
  4. Order confirmation. An ‘Order Confirmation’ email will be sent to your registered email address with a summary of your order.
  5. Order dispatched. We aim to dispatch your order within 4-9 working days after the “Order Confirmation” email has been sent. An ‘Order Dispatched’ email will be sent to you includes the tracking details of your order.

 

♦ Cancel/Changed Order

 

Customer’s order begins processing immediately after he/she received the Order No. During processing time, it may be possible to change/cancel the order. However, if the order is undergoing the delivery process, the order cannot be canceled/changed.
If you want to change or cancel the order, go to “My Account”  —>  “Order History”  —>  “Order Details
At this page, you can see all your orders and could decide to change your mind or keep buying product(s) from us. When you would like to cancel the order, you must provide us the reason for that request such as (shipping fees, delivery time, found better deal on the same product which you ordered, others…)

3. PAYMENT

♦ Payments and Address

3.1. Technese accepts all forms of PayPal payment (Instant Payments, Credit Cards, e-cheques, bank-in, and PayPal Credit)

3.2. All PayPal payments must be made from a verified account with a confirmed shipping address. Technese understands that a confirmed address is not always possible; therefore, Technese may accept payments with unverified addresses, depending on the outcome of our internal risk assessment.
By submitting a PayPal payment without a confirmed address, customer agrees to have a risk assessment carried out to evaluate the risk level involved. The procedures and standards of the scoring system cannot be disclosed.

3.3. Technese reserves the right to immediately refund/reject customer’s PayPal payment if:
3.3.1. Customer’s PayPal account is unverified
3.3.2. Customer’s shipping address is unconfirmed AND customer’s PayPal account is less than one month old AND customer’s email address is not a business email address of a well-known company
3.3.3. All other cases (such as unconfirmed addresses) will be assessed individually and a delay may be caused due to a payment evaluation.

3.4. Payment of the goods shall be due at the time the Order Confirmation Email is sent. Invoices with payment overdue by 7 days or longer may be cancelled by Technese.
3.5. Payment shall not be deemed to have taken place until the receipt from Technese has been issued.

 

♦ PayPal eCheques

If customer has selected to make payment with a PayPal eCheque, Technese will hold customer’s order until the whole payment has been cleared. The typical time for a PayPal eCheque to clear is between 7-9 working days.

 

♦ Payment Reviews

From time to time, PayPal may decide to conduct a payment review. For security reasons, Technese will not process customer’s order until the review has been completed and cleared of any possible risk.
Customer can avoid delays, by verifying his/her PayPal account and confirming his/her shipping address.

 

♦ Compliance with Legal Process

It is possible that Technese may need to disclose personal information, profile information and/or information about customer’s activities as a Technese Customer when required by subpoena or other legal process, or if Technese has a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to (a) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (b) to enforce the Customer Agreement, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third party claims or allegations, or to protect the security or integrity of Technese’s site; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property or personal safety of Technese, its customers, employees, or others.

 

4. TAXES

By purchasing a product(s) through the Site, customers outside of our warehouse (Hong Kong) will normally be subjected to import duties and taxes and any other applicable customs related costs. Customs policies differ from country to country, which may result in indirect customs related costs in addition to the directly related customs costs charged by the courier. Customers typically should contact their local customs office if more information is required about this. Technese will have no control over applicable customs policies.
Any additional charges that are incurred for local taxes, customs and/or duties incurred once the product(s) reaches your country are not included in the price shown at the checkout section of this website and are the responsibility of the person taking delivery of the product(s).
When making order in our website, you agree to pay tax(es) and duti(es) and are responsible for all import duties and taxes, and any related levies for the order of your product(s).

 

 

5. SHIPPING/DELIVERY

Technese aims to dispatch orders as quickly as possible and the estimated dispatch time is within 1-7 working days. If the dispatch time is longer than 7 working days, Technese will send an email or a message to notify and enquire you about the order. Please note that these times are provided as a guide only and it could take longer during sale, peak or holiday periods. As we are utilizing the services of a third party to deliver our product(s), we have no control over delivery times and international shipments can be subject to various delays that are out of our control (such as carrier or shipping delays, weather, customs, etc).

 

♦ Carrier /Shipping company

Technese has established partnerships with several local couriers and therefore your orders will be delivered using some of these couriers of the delivery countries. They include Royal Mail,  Collisimo, DHL, Fedex, Toll, Hermes, BRG, Post NL or SEUR.

 

♦ Estimated time of delivery after dispatch

Orders delivering to the United Kingdom: 3-5 working days

Orders delivering to Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands: 4-6 Working days

When an order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to the email address of which the customer has registered to Technese, so that customer will be able to check the delivery status. However, note that there may be delays due to the heavy traffic at peak seasons, unexpected environmental factors, and etc. Please contact Technese’s team via [email protected], if customers do not receive the product(s) on time.

 

♦ Delivery Charge & Shipping Location

Technese currently offer free delivery service to the entire United Kingdom, including England, Scotland (except Scottish Highlands & Islands), Wales, Northern Ireland, as well as Jersey. We currently do not offer any shipping service to Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Guernsey.

 

♦ Delivery Address

Delivery Address should be identical to that of customer’s PayPal registered address. Delivery Address can be changed through updating customer’s contact information or when customers are going through the Ordering Process.

 

♦ Delivery Arrangement for Pre-orders

A pre-order product is a product that has not yet been released and/or currently sold-out in our shop. By pre-ordering, you are required to put a deposit of 20% of the product price in order to reserve the product when it is available. An email will be sent to your registered email address once the stock is available and the rest of the payment has to be paid in full before shipping.

If the final price goes up, you will only pay the price as when you placed your pre-order. If it drops after you have pre-ordered, you will pay the price as on the day when we send you the stock availability email. Therefore, you will never be penalized for ordering early! The estimated date of the stock arrival is based on the shipment schedule of our suppliers and is subject to change as a result of manufacturing delays. We will keep you well informed if there is any delay.

You can cancel your pre-order within 3 days of placing your pre-order, and the 20% deposit you’ve placed will be refunded to you via the original payment method. If you cancel your pre-order after 3 days, only 80% of the initial deposit will be refunded to you.

 

♦ Import Tax, VAT & Customs

Technese sources products from international suppliers and centralises the products in our dispatching warehouse in Hong Kong. By purchasing from Technese, you acknowledge that you are importing products from Hong Kong and that import tax, VAT & customs charges may incur. However, to avoid the complexity and provide a better overall shopping experience to our customers, Technese will handle the process of customs clearance on your behalf for the products in your order. Therefore, the prices shown on this website are the final total you have to pay for your order and delivery to your address, without any hidden charges or customs delay. Please note that after 3 months of receiving the goods and clearing customs, Technese will not be held responsible for any custom related fees thereof.

 

♦ Product Availability Information

Technese lists availability information for product(s) sold by Technese on the website, and on each product(s) information page. Beyond what we say on that page or on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch time and should not be relied upon as such. As Technese processes customer’s order, Technese will inform customer by e-mail if any product(s) he/she orders turn out to be unavailable.

 

♦ Extra Cost

  1. Change/Incorrect/Incomplete address when the product dispatched.
  2. Postal Service (Holiday Peak Time)
  3. Delayed Payment

The above extra cost charge to Customer.

 

♦ Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Technese tries very hard to ensure that customers receive their order in pristine condition. If customers do not receive their product(s), please e-mail Technese at [email protected]. In the unlikely event that a product(s) arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Technese at [email protected].
When customers place an order from Technese Online Store, Technese will send customers an e-mail confirming receipt of their order which containing the its details.

Their order represents an offer to Technese to order a product(s) which is accepted by Technese, when Technese sends an e-mail confirmation to customers that Technese has dispatched that product(s) to customers (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be completed at the time Technese sends the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to customers. Any product(s) on the same order which Technese has not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

 

♦ Risk and ownership of the goods
All product(s) ordered from Technese are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such product(s) pass to customers upon the delivery to the carrier.
Ownership of the goods shall not pass to the customers until Technese has received full, cleared funds of the sum due to Technese for ordered goods, and all other sums which are or may become due to Technese from the customers on any account.
Until ownership of the goods have passed to the customers, the customers will: hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as the Company’s bailee; store the goods separately from all other goods in such a way that they remain identifiable as the Technese ‘s property; not destroy or deface any identifying marks on the goods or packaging; keep the goods in satisfactory condition, as noted on the Company’s policy, and hold any proceeds that may come from the Company’s insurance in trust and not mix them with any other money

 

 

6. RETURNS

 

♦ Cancellation and Returns

Customers can cancel their order anytime prior to dispatch and up to 14 days after the goods are delivered. Simply return the goods with a return authorization letter and original packaging to Techese, and Technese will offer a refund based upon the original payment method within 14 days. Please note the following:
Technese does not take title to the returned product(s) until the product(s) arrive at Technese’s return address. Customers do not have the right to cancel their order if it contains computer software which has been unsealed by customers, or for consumable goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned, save where a fault is discovered which could not have been discovered otherwise than by unsealing the goods.
Goods must be returned in its original condition with all accessories, packing, instructions and any other product(s) included with it at time of sale (including free gifts). Customers must take reasonable care of the goods and return them in its original and undamaged condition. Gift cards, personalized and custom made product(s) cannot be returned.

 

♦ Full Terms

We’re happy to refund or exchange your order as long as it’s unopened and in its original packaging. Technese offers a 14-Days Return Policy from the day customers receive the product(s) and only if customers could follow the below return guidelines.
1. Product(s) must be returned in Original Condition with the product(s) packaging, booklets / manuals, swing tags, labels and all other accessories included.
2. All returns must be boxed and packed securely for shipping, and are in re-saleable condition when Technese receives them.
3. Customers are required to contact us and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) before sending anything back to Technese. Any returns sent without a RMA number will not be accepted by us. Customers assume all responsibility for the package until it arrives at our office. Technese will not be responsible for returned packages if it was lost by your mailing service.
4. Customers must ship the product(s) back under insured delivery and label as defective return.
5. Customers must follow the instructions of Technese’s shipping method.
6. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us and returning of the product and these costs are non-refundable.
7. If customers do not pay this cost, Technese will not send the product(s) back and will keep the product(s) for solely 60 days. If this cost is still not received from customers within after 60 days, Technese will dispose the product(s) without prior notice.
14-Days Return Policy do NOT apply to the followings:
1. Customers make any further use, alter, or repair to the malfunctioning product(s) without the agreement of Technese.
2. The serial number/IMEI of the product(s) does not match Technese’s record or the serial number/IMEI has been scratched, peeled off, or disappeared.
3. Periodic checkup, maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tears.
4. Costs relating to transport, removal, or installation of the product(s).
5. Misuse, including the failure to use this product(s) for its normal purposes or incorrect installation.
6. Damages caused by shock or fall, sand, dirt, dust, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, lightning, liquid, fire, acts of god, war, public ventilation or any other causes beyond the control of us.
7. Damage on any other product(s) used in conjunction with the product(s).

 

♦ Refund and Re-Stock Fee

When the return product arrives Technese office, open parcel and checking procedure will be recorded in a video by Technese. All of the following conditions must be met for Technese to issue customers a full refund

1. Product is returned to Technese within 14 days after delivery.

2. Customers have NOT opened the packaging.

3. Customers have NOT used the product(s) in any way.

4. Customers have NOT damaged the packaging.

5. The product is not a special ordered product (stock ordered upon request), customized product, pre-paid value cards or gift cards.
*** Re-stocking Fee

Technese will deduct at least 15% re-stocking fee from the refund, if the following conditions occurs:

1. The package of the product(s) is opened, OR

2. The package of the product(s) is damaged.

 

 

*** Product(s) that cannot be returned:

1. When more than 14 days after delivery

2. When the product(s) is missing serial number.

3. When software is opened

4. Customized product(s)

5. Special Order product(s) (product(s) with “Stock ordered upon request” status)

6. Underwater equipment that has been submerged

7. Consumables that have been opened

 

 

*** Technese also reserves the rights not to accept a return ,if:

1. There are signs of product(s) being used

2. There are signs of product(s) being damaged

3. Product(s) returned incomplete

 

 

*** Other Notes:

1. Customers must pay for return postage and insure the product(s) against loss or damage during its transit to Technese.

2. Refund will be processed within 10 days after Technese receives the returned product(s).

3. Refund must be made by the original payment method customers used (e.g. to the credit card customers used for placing the order)

4. Customers must NOT accept a delivery if the packaging has been damaged.

5. Customers must report any missing product/accessory within 2 days after delivery

 

 

♦ Faulty Goods (DOA, Dead on arrival)

Technese aims to replace or repairs faulty product(s) if they are deemed to be faulty on arrival. Technese must be notified within 5 days of delivery. However, the product must be in ‘as new’ condition completed with original box, packing and accessories. Proof of order must also be provided. If Technese is unable to detect a fault, it may be necessary for Technese to return the goods to the manufacturer for confirmation before Technese is able to supply a replacement.
♦ Preparation for Return

1. Customers can return the product(s) for service in case of warranty issues only if customers can follow the return guidelines below:
2. Customers have the responsibility to take photos and/or video to show the problem.
3. All returned product(s) should be well-packed with shockproof and waterproof material.
4. Back-up and delete all personal/privacy electronic data before shipping.
5. Remove memory card and SIM card before shipping.
6. Shipped with tracking number.
7. Contact Technese before sending any product(s) back to Technese.

 

 

7. WARRANTY

 

♦ Technese Warranty

1. Technese offers 12-month warranty service to main product(s) such as phones, tablets, cameras and camcorders (excluding accessories). For the orders placed before this effective date, no warranty service will be covered.
2. The period of the warranty shall be 12 months starting from the day customers receive the product(s).
3. Customers are required to contact Technese before sending anything back to Technese.
4. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us and returning of the product and these costs are non-refundable.
5. Customers must follow the instructions of Technese’s shipping method.
6. If customers do not pay this cost, Technese will not send the product back and will keep the products for solely 60 days. If this cost is still not received from Customers within after 60 days, Technese will dispose the product(s) without prior notice.
7. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to Technese and for the returning of the product. Defective product must be returned within the 7 working days upon receiving the product. International warranty can be arranged for extra fees, please contact Technese for more details.
8. The Warranty shall be valid only when Technese receives the faulty product within the period of warranty. Any previous notifications from Customers will become invalid if Technese cannot receive the product(s) within the warranty period.
9. For non-repairable product(s), Technese will not compensate customers with 100% value of the original order unit price. Please consider with the rate of depreciation.
⋅ Technese Warranty DO NOT apply to the followings:

1. Customers make any further use, alter, or repair to the malfunctioning product(s) without the agreement of Technese.

♦ Preparation for Return
Customers can return the product(s) for service in case of warranty issues only if customers can follow the return guidelines below:

4. Remove memory card and SIM card before shipping.

6. Contact Technese before sending any product(s) back to Technese.

 

♦ Exclude in the Technese Warranty
1. With Phone and Tablet – All electronic data, Display Glass, Consumables, Case, Stylus Pen, All accessories, Packing and Box

2. With Watch, Smart Watch – All electronic data, Display Glass, Consumables, Case, Watchband, All accessories, Packing and Box

3. With Camera and Len – All electronic data, Display Glass, Lens Elements, Consumables, Case, All accessories, Packing and Box

4. Speaker, Headphone, Earphone and other accessories for hygiene issues

 

♦ Extend the Technese Warranty
When each Technese Warranty nearly finishes, a warranty extension letter will be sent to customers by email in order to ask customers if they would like to extend the warranty.
The cost and terms will be shown in the warranty extension letter.
